Help Desk Analyst

What the position entails:

Veracity Engineering has an exciting opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst in our Headquarters located in the heart of Washington, DC. The incumbent will provide Tier II/III Help Desk support to include COTS product and technical expertise, technical assistance for end-users and IT professionals.

What you will get to do:
• Assist in scheduling and project management to support business and IT objectives and Oracle COTS product configuration.
• Documentation and data management to include maintenance of processes, plans, system logs, etc.
• Performance of software diagnostics.
• Business process analysis skills to describe and create defined business and operations controls and processes.
• End-user training / orientation pertaining to software.

Must Haves:
• Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of Tier II/Tier III IT support experience.
• BMC Remedy experience.
• Knowledge of Oracle applications (especially Primavera).
• Experience with enterprise project portfolio management software.
• Experience with commercially available off-the-shelf (COTS) software support.
