What the position entails:

Veracity Engineering has an exciting part-time opportunity for a Database Tester in our Atlantic City, NJ location. The successful candidate will work with lab personnel and various commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) hardware and software components of multiple NAS systems in a development and test lab environment. They also will provide second level support, testing and configuration management.

What you will get to do:
• Provide subject matter expertise and guidance of testing processes.
• Design the system test, develop test plans and procedures, capture test artifacts and develop test reports.
• Opportunity to support Weather Message Switching Center Replacement (WMSCR).

Must Haves:
• Possess knowledge and expertise in NAS programs and its state-of-the-art systems.
• Understanding of system testing practices.
• Experience with using and troubleshooting Red Hat Enterprise Linux OS.
• Knowledge of SQL, databases.
• Experience developing test and deployment automation scripts and running audit reports to ensure that patching is up to date.
• Excellent customer relations skills.

**This is a part-time position with a maximum of 20 hours per week. Benefits and additional compensation are not available**
